Learn how to block Evony ads through Google Adsense:

Evony ads are like a virus for a lot of people's websites.  Evony doesn't just use evony.com like most people would assume.  They actually use over 20 unique URLs to spam the Adsense world with their ads of what they think is a hot female but looks more like a transvestite.  Not only is it obnxoius to be overrun with ads from one site, it's even worse when the ads look god awful. Below is how to block the evony ads from your adsense account.  

Login to your Adsense account.

Go to the Adsense Setup tab.

Click on Competitive Ad Filter in the submenu.

Add all of these domains then click Save.

I will do my best to keep this updated as I learn more about how to keep these ads from infiltrating a website using Google Adsense.  Please post any tips you have by adding a comment to this post.

Official response from Google about our complaints:

Hi everyone -- thanks for your patience so far. We've received all of your feedback and have looked into your concerns. Any Evony ads should now point only to evonyonline.com, so having evonyonline.com on your filter list should now effectively block all Evony ads. If you still see ads after adding this URL to your filter (and it's been over 48 hours since you've added it), reply to this thread and we'll look into it.

Update April 8th 2009,

A new rash of Evony ads have infiltrated my website again.  I found a new URL they are using and added it to my competitive ad filter list.  The new URL is evonytwo.com.  I do not see the ads anymore on my site after adding that new URL to the list.
