Batman Arkham Asylum will be getting a Game of the Year Edition with 3D. And it is now confirmed that the previously European/Australian exclusive, will be coming to us here in North America.

The enhanced, Game of the Year edition of Batman comes with TriOviz 3D support for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. The TriOviz 3D works on high-definition televisions by “leveraging depth-of-field” . The GOTY edition will also come with Batman or Joker themed 3D glasses. It also comes packed with 6 maps for the European edition and 4 maps for North America

European edition maps:

Scarecrow Nightmare Challenge Map
Crime Alley Challenge Map
Prey in the Darkness Map Pack (2 Maps)
Insane Night Map Pack (2 maps)

It’s uncertain which four maps will be included in the North American version, but some are guessing it won’t include the Prey in the Darkness map pack since it was a PS3 exclusive.

It will be available on March 16th for Europe (pre-order £30.99 on Amazon UK, £25.99 for the PC version) and May 11th for North America.
