Doom Resurrection will be available today in the iPhone App Store. Based off of Doom 3, Doom Resurrection starts the rush of the FPS game to mobile gaming.

Legendary id programmer John Carmack stated that Quake, Quake 2 and a port for Quake 3 arena are in the works. Doom 2 RPG and the classic Doom are also on the docket for upcoming iPhone games.

Since most FPS are played with a mouse and keyboard, it will be interesting to see the reaction of how an FPS is played on the iPhone.
