Fallout 3 triumphs in the 27th Annual Golden Joystick Awards, taking home the ultimate award: Ultimate Game of the Year. Over 1.2 millions votes were cast this year for the awards, an increase of 47% from the previous year.

Activision/Blizzard took home five of the fifteen awards handed out including the honored Publisher of the Year Award.
