G.Skill Unveils Game-Changing CL26 DDR5-6000 MT/s Memory Kit for the AMD AM5 Revolution

G.Skill has unveiled a new series of high-speed memory kits designed specifically for the AMD AM5 platform, particularly optimized for the 800 series motherboards. This latest offering promises exceptional speeds coupled with reduced latency, enhancing overall system performance.

Enhanced 48 GB x2 DDR5 Memory Kit Achieves Impressive Speeds

The new 48 GB x2 (96 GB) DDR5 memory kit from G.Skill can achieve speeds of 6000 MT/s while maintaining tight latency timings of CL26-39-39-96, a feat previously only accomplished by their 24 GB x2 (48 GB) kit. This upgrade allows users to maximize memory capacity for demanding applications without sacrificing system responsiveness. With the introduction of this kit, memory enthusiasts can now support more intensive tasks on the AM5 platform.

Testing conducted by G.Skill demonstrated that this 96 GB kit reaches the 6000 MT/s speed at CL26 when paired with the ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Hero motherboard and the high-performance AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor. Similar performance can also be achieved using the MSI MPG X870E Carbon Wi-Fi motherboard alongside the Ryzen 9 9900X processor, indicating versatility across different setups.

Notably, this new memory kit has improved its latency timings. While the previous 24 GB x2 kit operated at CL26-39-39, the new version operates at a lower CL26-36-36 for optimal performance, verified through rigorous testing that confirmed stability and error-free operation at the rated speeds.

G.Skill’s memory kits will be available in various series, including the Trident Z5 Neo RGB, Trident Z5 Royal Neo RGB, and Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB. To achieve the maximal advertised speeds, users must utilize the latest 800-series motherboards in combination with Ryzen 9000 series processors.

The 48 GB and 96 GB DDR5-6000 CL26 memory kits are set to be launched in May 2025, with distribution partnerships already in place to facilitate a global rollout.
