Crosswind Crew has revealed an upcoming free-to-play pirate survival MMO titled *Crosswind*, designed for PC gamers. Set during the 17th century, a pivotal period in the Golden Age of Piracy, players step into the shoes of a freelance captain who faces betrayal and isolation following a botched mission. This narrative begins as a personal tale of survival and vengeance but evolves into a grander conflict involving empires, pirate clans, and ancient supernatural forces.

Gameplay Overview

*Crosswind* promises a robust survival experience. Players will traverse diverse biomes to collect resources, enabling them to craft and build a sanctuary that can transform into a fully operational outpost. There’s also the opportunity to recruit crew members, enhancing resource production and harvesting efficiency. Combat mechanics include a wide selection of melee weapons and firearms, allowing players to dodge, parry, and execute various attacks against enemies.

Naval and Ground Adventures

The gameplay experience captures the essence of piracy both on land and at sea. Players can bombard coastal forts from their ships, engaging in melee combat once they close in.
