Spike Video Game Awards Airs Live December 12th

Spike’s Video Game Awards 2009 will air live on December 12th, 2009 at 8PM and will show more than awards being handed out. Spike has promised a world premiere look at the upcoming Halo: Reach. Halo: Reach was announced at E3 as a prequel to the original Halo that will be coming out in Fall of 2010.

Other publishers contributing exclusive new content to the VGAs include 2K, Activision, Disney Interactive Studios, Electronic Arts, LucasArts Entertainment, Microsoft Game Studios, THQ, Ubisoft, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and more.

The Video Game Awards are essentially viewers choice. Voting online is open until Friday, December 11th. The VGA’s have been running since 2003.
