The upcoming season of Rocket League, Season 18, is set to launch on March 14 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 4 PM GMT. This season introduces a futuristic theme centered around the Futura Garden Arena and includes a variety of new customization options for vehicles.
New Features and Content
With the arrival of the new season comes a fresh season pass. Players who purchase the Rocket Pass will gain access to the Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack Car Body, along with the Azura Car Body, Space Tower Antenna, Spaceship Topper, and Waypoint Trail. Additionally, anyone logging in during Season 18 will automatically unlock the Future Fashion Banner.
Mutators in Exhibition Mode
One of the standout features of this season is the introduction of new mutators available in Exhibition Mode and Private Matches. The complete list of mutators includes:
- Jumps: Choose from double jump to octuple jump or disable jumping entirely.
- Number of Balls: Decide how many balls will be in play—options include one, two, four, or six.
- Ball Gravity: Select from low, high, super, or default gravitational effects.
- Dodge Timer: Modify the time allowed for dodging.
- Possession Score: Earn points for maintaining ball possession.
- Normal Goal Score: Adjust points awarded for each goal scored.
- Aerial Goal Score: Increase points for goals made while airborne.
- Assist Score: Earn points for assists, with a maximum of three points available.
- Enforce Territories: This mutator implements the Split Shot Wall, which divides teams on the field, resulting in demolition if players cross into the opponent’s territory.
Gameplay Enhancements
A new audio cue will now play when the ball strikes the crossbar or goal posts, helping players gauge their shots more accurately and preventing premature celebrations.
Player Reporting Improvements
In an effort to enhance community safety, Rocket League is expanding its player reporting system to include voice reporting. Players can now submit audio evidence alongside traditional reporting methods for those suspected of violating Community Rules. A detailed FAQ is available for players seeking more information on this feature.
